GUJRAT: Chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has reached Gujrat with a convoy of lawyers to address the District Bar Sialkot.
The deposed chief justice along with the convoy of lawyers left Islamabad for Sialkot via G.T. Road Islamabad.
Included in the convoy are Chaudhry Aitezaz Ahsan, president Supreme Court Bar Association Ali Ahmed Kurd and other lawyer leaders besides a large number of lawyers.
The deposed chief justice was accorded warm welcome on the way all along G.T. Raod to Gujrat by all the bar associations at district and tehsil level, including Rawat, Mandra, Gujar Khan, Sowaha, Dina, Jhelum, Kharian and Lala Musa.
The deposed chief justice also inaugurated the Iftikhar Hall in Kharian.
He will also visit the bars of Gujrat and Gujranwala.
