DG KHAN: Former president Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Aitzaz Ahsan has condemned the declaration of Governor rule in the province of Punjab.
Addressing lawyers convention here on Wednesday night, Aitzaz Ahsan said such steps will prove detrimental for Pakistan People’s Party.
Deposed chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was also present on the occasion.
“If we want to change our fate, then there is no other option than to have independent judiciary,” Aitzaz Ahsan asserted adding “Now it is no time to sit at home.”
