CJP Chaudhry’s iconic retirement date, numerology and history.

LAHORE: While Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry the Chief Justice of Pakistan would be relinquishing charge on the iconic Gregorian calendar date of December 11, 2013 (or 11/12/13), the incumbent US Secretary of State John Kerry (born 1943), sitting Indian President Pranab Kumar Mukherjee (born 1935) and legendary Bollywood film star Dilip Kumar (born 1922) would be celebrating their birthdays on the same day.
The last time the world had witnessed 11/12/13 was 100 years ago on December 11, 1913 (Thursday), or the day when Mona Lisa, the most visited and the most written about half-length portrait of a woman by the legendary Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) was recovered, two years after it was stolen from the Louvre Museum in Paris.
The next time the inhabitants of planet Earth would see this date rolling would be on December 11, 2113, or a century from now, which thereby means that just a handful of the seven billion plus people breathing today would actually be alive by then!
For those who place excessive faith in numerical patterns and claim to draw scientific inferences from them, the sum of 11, 12, and 13 is 9, which is the last of the cardinal numbers between 0-9 and hence represents the end of a cycle or the end of an era—-so very true in case of outgoing Pakistani Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary!
Number 9 is considered one of the most creative numbers in Numerology. It indicates that the beginning of something new is right around the corner. This particular number is also considered to be lucky in the Chinese culture as it means long lasting and the one which fetches health, wealth and fame.
Mathematicians term this number as being quite unique, interesting and revealing. To add conviction to their argument, most mathematicians around the globe come out with a philosophical observation that when any other number (no matter how large it may be) is multiplied by 9, the answer always becomes a 9—when reduced to a single digit.
Hence, any number that was initially increased by a factor of 9 loses its own identity and instead takes on the characteristics of 9.
No other number has that quality. A different, but no less distinctive and revealing mathematical attribute of Number 9 is that when you add (as opposed to multiply) it to any other number, then reduce that number to a single digit, it always comes back to itself, as if nothing was added at all.
For example, 5 + 9 = 14 and 1 + 4 = 5. To quote another example for the sake of clarity, add 7 to 9.The answer is 16. When 1 and 6 are added, the sum is 7.
This, from a numerological perspective, is actually the exact opposite of what happens when you use 9 to multiply, because when adding it, increasing the amount by 9, it does not change anything to its initial single digit value. When multiplying, the 9 takes over ... when adding, the 9 does nothing.
By the way, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry happens to be the 18th Chief Justice of Pakistan. We will get a 9 here if we add 1 and 8.
Remember, the first time Iftikhar Chaudhry was sent home during General Pervez Musharraf’s era was on March 9, 2007, the day that had not only ultimately helped this top Apex Court arbiter win global fame for himself, but it had also changed Pakistan’s political landscape.

Remember, the first McDonald’s restaurant was started in 1948 by brothers Maurice and Richard McDonald in California.
