ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has received no notice to vacate his official residence. Athar Minallah, spokesman for the deposed CJ told APP here Friday that any kind of notice for vacating residence would be illegal and unconstitutional.
“Such an act would draw nationwide reaction which has never accepted unconstitutional steps of November 3, 2007, when an unconstitutional president sent the whole superior judiciary to home,” he added.
He reiterated that Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry would not vacate his residence and no one could ask for it.
