HYDERABAD: President Supreme Court Bar Association, Atizaz Ahsan has said that people wanted to see deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary reinstated as CJ in order to deliver them justice.
He expressed these views while addressing a multitude that came to welcome Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary at Hyderabad bypass on Saturday. Jamaat-e-Islami, Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party, Tehrik-e-Insaf, Awami Tehrik, Pasban and hundreds of workers of PML-N and lawyers participated in the reception.
Atizaz Ahsan said that if deposed CJ was reinstated then he would deliver justice to Monoo Bhai and Mukhtaran Mai and take notice of unjust load shedding, lawlessness and increasing prices of atta.
Earlier, District Administration Hyderabad took stringent security measures on the occasion of visit of deposed CJ. Bomb disposal squad, ambulances and fire-brigade vehicles also escorted CJ caravan.
