RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi High Court Bar and other Bar Associations on Thursday announced to observe November 3 as Black Day which according to them would prove to be a last nail in the coffin for Restoration of Judiciary.
These views were expressed by High Court Bar Rawalpindi Sardar Asmat Ullah Khan and General Secretary Malik Sadiq Awan and others in a crowded press conference in Bar Room on Thursday.
The Lawyers from all the five District Bars and 15 Tehsil Bars will participate in the protest scheduled for November 3, along with Representatives of Bars across the country Sardar Asmatullah Khan, LCHBA Rawalpindi President informed.
They were of the view that they will continue their just struggle for Independence of Judiciary and re-instatement of deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Sardar Asmatullah Khan said that November 3 will be a historical day in freedom of judiciary urging all the masses from various walks of life, Civil Society and others to participate in the Rally outside Parliament House on November 3 and then a formal sit-in.
Before the sit-in Deposed CJP will address Lawyers Convention.
