CJP says Speedy justice must for good governance.

“Only noble exercise of laws in the state can lead to judicial hegemony. It is the duty of judiciary to decide on legal issues involving people’s welfare and rights.
By following such assumptions we subject ourselves to a possible judicial hegemony,” the Chief Justice contended during the meeting.

He emphasised the lawyers to be honest and sincere to their profession and pay more attention towards their cases and avoid adjournments.
“The blackcoats also should extend their cooperation to eradicate corruption from judiciary,” he concluded.
Later, President Multan Bar, Sher Zaman Qureshi, with other office-bearers invited the Chief Justice to visit Multan. The Chief Justice accepted their invitation.
