ISLAMABAD: A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will resume hearing of rental power plants case today (Wednesday).
All 16 defendants were ordered to appear before the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
On January 15, the Supreme Court ordered NAB authorities to arrest Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf for alleged corruption.
Arrest orders were also been issued for 15 others in the same case, which dates back to 2010.
Raja Pervez Ashraf is accused of taking bribes to approve new energy projects while he was Pakistan's Minister for Water & Power. He denies the allegations.
