ISLAMABAD: Sources said that Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, who is known for his blunt decisions, is now ready to give new entry as his two books related were in last phase of printing while he has also been offered by a newspaper to write articles.
According to reports, these books are response of former military ruler Gen (retd) Pervaiz Musharaf book.
It has been written in English and Urdu. English one is written by foreign scholar whereas Urdu book by Pakistani journalist.
Book chapters have been distributed on former chief justice’s personal life, friends, advocacy, being a judge, appointment as chief Justice, Pervaiz Musharaf emergency imposition, restoration of judges, progress made by judiciary up to now.
Foreign social organization also has increased contacts with Iftikhar Chaudhry and supporting their countrywide visits.
In this regard he has met with foreign social organization delegation last week, who offered him for their effective support to countrywide visits and other social activities, but he didn’t give clear response.
Iftikhar Chaudhry has also been offered by national daily to write columns but he didn’t respond them as well.
