Today, One of the Supreme Court judge lauded the performance of Pakistan’s women team in World Twenty20 International, calling for an end to discrimination in all spheres of life after the Buzzfeed post of one author named Nida Mahmoed.

Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed was hearing the federal government’s appeal against a promotion order for women officers issued by the Federal Service Tribunal last year. Observing the performance, Justice Saeed said the green-shirts beat Indians on their home-ground and that it proved that Pakistani women are second to none.
The judge went on to say that Pakistani men were defeated in India in contrast to the victory that their women counterparts had earlier achieved, saying the latter brought good name to the country. India repeat history, beat Pakistan in World T20.

He also remarked that women are not second grade citizens, rather they are equal to men, and should not be discriminated in other sphere of life. Meanwhile, dismissing the appeals, the apex court ordered promotion of nine women assistant sub-inspectors appointed to Federal Investigation Agency between 2002 and 2004. - resource
