‘Struggle for reinstatement of judges to continue’.

MULTAN: Mirza Aziz Akbar Baig, vice-chairman Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), has said no package or formula except the reinstatement of all the deposed judges, including Iftikhar Chaudhry will be acceptable and lawyers will launch a long march if needed. Talking to news persons Monday he said both the major parties had pledged publicly that all the judges would be reinstated within 30 days after the formation of government. He said: "If the government through some constitutional package wants to strengthen the judiciary then it must do but the judges' reinstatement was a separate issue for which the lawyers would continue their struggle. Aziz said the planned series of addresses of deposed chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry to the bar associations had been stopped on the request of PM.
