Ahsan for reinstatement of deposed judges.

ISLAMABAD: Leader Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal has asked government to ensure implementation on Murree declaration by reinstating deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary.

3rd November was black day in country’s history because on that day military dictator had imposed another martial law by toppling independent judiciary and suspending basic rights of people, he said this while talking to media men outside the Parliament on Thursday.

The unconstitutional steps taken by Former President Pervez Musharraf also lend a chance for country’s enemy to take advantage of the situation, he said, adding that, the incumbent government has been voted for the cause of democracy and independent judiciary.

The incumbent government is continuing to follow policies of a dictator despite clear mandate of masses on 18th February, PML-N leader added. Despite passing of a year, it is unfortunate that deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chauhdry could not be reinstated, he added.

Expressing his views about elections of Supreme Court Bar Association, he said, Attorney General of Pakistan and Federal law Minister could not purchase lawyers faith despite utilizing hefty amount.
