Rally prays for Benazir Bhutto.

Rawalpindi: Chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and participants of the rally when reached Liaquat Bagh they offered ‘fateha’ for the departed soul of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

While addressing the gathering in front of Liaquat Bagh former President Supreme Court Bar Association Aitzaz Ahsan said that this was the place where the leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was killed in a suicide attack and where she said that justice Iftikhar is our chief justice. “Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was very outspoken and was one of the great leaders in the history of the politics of Pakistan,” he said.

He said this is the time for political parties to fulfil all the promises to restore all deposed judges including justice Iftikhar. Aitzaz said because of shortage of time we would not go inside the Liaquat Bagh and instead pray from outside. All the participants of the rally prayed for the departed soul of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and also raised slogans for the restoration of judiciary.
