ISLAMABAD: The caravan of Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has reached Rawalpindi Bar where the deposed CJ would address Rawalpindi Bar Association.Justice Iftikhar will administer oath of office to 18 newly elected members of Rawalpindi Division Bar.
A large number of lawyers saw off the deposed CJ when he left for Rawalpindi this morning from his residence in Judges colony. They chanted slogans in favor of deposed chief justice and free judiciary.
The deposed CJ is accompanied by his spokesperson Athar Minallah and former president of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan.
