Lahore: Lawyers and members of civil society groups Thursday gathered at Liberty Market in connection with the awareness campaign about the objectives of the black flag week being observed from March 9 to March 16 by the legal community.
SCBA coordinator Muhammad Azhar Siddique and Miss Bina Qureshi were leading the gathering. They guided people about the objectives of black flag week.
They were also carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans and demands for restoration of chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and other 59 judges who did not take oath under the PCO on November 3, 2007.

Azhar Siddique said that Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry challenged the forces of dictatorship on March 9 when he refused to bow down before President Musharraf.
